Special measures Coronavirus
Just like you, we, as a hotel, are surprised by the enormous impact of the Corona virus, but Best Western City Hotel Leiden is and will remain open!
In recent weeks we have carefully prepared ourselves for the 1.5 meter society and the necessary measures have been taken. In this way, hotel guests can make use of our food and beverage outlets in adapted, but still atmospheric surroundings. If you prefer not to have your breakfast served in our restaurant or on our terrace, but in your own room, we do not charge extra for this.
We hope that the power of hospitality will help us in these uncertain times. Either way, Best Western City Hotel Leiden is ready for you!
We are introducing measures aimed at minimizing the risk of contamination. We communicate these measures to both our employees and our guests. These measures apply to all viruses that can cause flu and colds.
These are our measures:
1. Wash your hands regularly – at least every 30 minutes, of we are in contact with food and guests and at least every 3 hours for office functions – also we talk to each other about this;
2. Cough and sneeze into the inside of your elbow;
3. Use paper tissues and throw them away immediately after use;
Also:
We pay extra attention to (our) hygiene;
Rooms: extra attention is paid to all touch points in the rooms and around the rooms (corridors). This means that we will thoroughly clean the remote control, all door handles, all handrails, handles of cabinets, light buttons, and other objects that guests often touch;
Public areas: extra rounds are made by our morning and evening crew to extra clean the banisters in the staircase, as well as the handles in the toilets. This will be done several times a day. We will also clean the railings of the stairs in between;
We ensure that the soap pump is always filled on the toilet;
Clean (paper) towels are always available for guests and employees;
Disinfectant soap is available for guests and employees in different locations so that they can also disinfect the hands in the meantime;
Stripes are placed on the floor at the reception, so that a distance of 1.5 meters can be observed;
We will install disinfection columns at the entrance of our hotel and on each floor, so that everyone is given the opportunity to disinfect their hands;
In our restaurants, all tables are more than 1.5 meters apart, so that guests can keep this distance from each other.
We ask our guests to pay contactless as much as possible. If a guest has come into contact with the terminal, we will disinfect the terminal after every contact.
